What is verified?
We check official operator websites and operator-controlled pages. A source check confirms what the source published on that date; it does not establish live stock, an in-person visit or guaranteed opening status. Third-party directories help discover leads. A matching Google Maps record may establish a separately attributed closure report; it does not verify retail stock or prices. Third-party price reports and undated gallery images remain explicitly uncertain evidence, never current rates.
Dates belong to claims
Hours, pricing, restocking and individual discounts have separate evidence and check dates. Operator-level categories are identified. Unknown information stays unknown; conflicting or ambiguous information is explained rather than silently resolved.
When information becomes uncertain
Our initial review intervals are editorial operating assumptions: prices and restocking after 14 days, hours after 30 days, shopping notes after 90 days, and addresses/categories after 180 days. These intervals do not guarantee accuracy within the window. Overdue claims are marked historical and uncertain until checked again.
Corrections and closed stores
Suggest a correction with an official source. A reviewer checks the evidence before changing a record. Listings can be marked closed or temporarily unverified; old values and the reason for the change remain in history. A missing schedule is not evidence of closure.
Suggestions are received in a shared editorial queue. A restricted reviewer checks source evidence and approves changes into the authoritative directory data. The form does not send email notifications. Send a suggestion.
Portable records
Reviewed records, source URLs, check dates and history can be exported as JSON. We do not depend on a single hosting platform to retain the directory.
